Where can I find recipes and cooking instructions?
You can view recipes in our blog! Otherwise, email us at orders@lowerland.co.za and we will happily talk you through preparing anything we sell.
How should I store what I have bought?
- Flour and grain — cool and dry, and freeze it if you have the space. Our grain is never fumigated, so a little care keeps weevils away.
- Meat — arrives frozen and ready for the freezer, where it keeps for at least six months. If it has thawed slightly in transit at a cool temperature, it is safe to refreeze.
